The Eiffel Tower: the Sailor Cap

As I was scouring for potential photoshoot spots in Paris, I thought, what better place to take fashion blogger-esque photos than in front of the Eiffel Tower? Sounds cliché, but it’s actually really gorgeous. I’m always in awe every time I see it. Especially when you catch a glimpse of the Tower during the sunset where the sky turns to cotton candy, or when it sparkles at night once every hour.

It’s one of the most beautiful landmarks in the world, and after writing my post on ‘12 most instagrammable spots in Paris‘, I wanted to get a few shots next to this beauty.

Now that the weather is getting a bit colder, which I’m not quite used to yet (even though I’ve been in the UK IN THE MIDLANDS for 2 years) I decided to add a pair of knee-high suede boots to my collection of boots which I have deep affection for and to keep my legs warm. Take away my boots and you take away my soul! I paired them with my coat (which my aunt also gave me), black sheer tights and a sailor cap. Now this sailor cap from Zara was the last one in the shop so luckily I was able to get it! I saw this type of hat trend everywhere especially on Instagram, so as a fashion blogger myself, I opted for a look that is trendy yet still sexy and elegant. I wanted to put together something I felt comfortable in, but also which would allow me to be myself. Although the sailor cap is an accessory that’s completely new for me, and which I consider a bold move wearing it, I definitely felt a slight change in my style and I do feel it’s a look that could work for me in the long term. Thank you @NicolasinParis again for these gorgeous photos!
